Sally (class of 2014) has been at Cape Fear since Pre-K and knows the ropes. She plays tennis, soccer and occasionally rides her pony, Tidbit. She loves animals but her parents aren’t always thrilled to come home to four barking dogs, a cat, and a beta fish. A few loves of hers are her family, her friends, art/design and the voice of her mother telling her to clean her room.
Merritt (class of 2014) has attended Cape Fear Academy since the sixth grade. She plays on many different volleyball teams and has played against many teams around the world including Colorado, Ohio and even Puerto Rico! Besides volleyball, she enjoys hanging out with friends, boating and admiring her freckles shaped like the “big dipper.”
Lindsay (Class of 2013) is the ultimate well-rounded student who balances drama, cheerleading, and challenging academics. Her favorite food combination is French fries and mayo. She is the social maven of her class, always smiling, and looks forward to a career involving social media.
Taylor (Class of 2012)is known for her bubbly personality and her friendly manner. She is one of four sisters and has been at Cape Fear Academy since sixth grade. Her school activities include tennis, swimming, and being prop goddess for the drama department. She is proud to have figured out the benefit from having glasses when she hasn’t spent 15 minutes on her eye makeup.
John (Class of 2012) is proud to be an Eagle Scout and his passion is his truck and where it takes him in life. An avid hunter and fisherman, his fashion tastes represent his Southern gentleman persona. He is known for his antics in the senior lounge and his prowess on the ping pong table.
(cheerleader) Ashleyanne (Class of 2012) – that’s exactly who she is! She is the most positive, outgoing, enthusiastic, cheerful member of the Class of 2012! Ashleyanne loves anything Southern such as gentlemen, sororities, pearls, tradition, and Azalea belle dresses.
Lydia (Class of 2012) is the queen mum to her classmates and treasurer for the student government. Known for her spot-on imitations of Nicki Minaj, she brings laughter to impromptu audiences with her moves. She’s the ultimate Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan who looks beautiful in her team colors of blue and white.
Cecil (class of 2011) became a part of the Hurricane family in 9th grade! He is now a student at the University of Virginia. He was the point guard for CFA’s varsity basketball team. He served as President and Founder of Diversity Club. Some of his blogs have been left on this site for posterity and because he will be famous some day.
